Who We Are
The LCEGC is a non-profit, local economic development organization (LEDO) formed to support growth of Lawrence County Businesses including startup support, workforce solutions, and technical assistance which promotes investment that improves the quality of life for our citizens. We are passionate about the opportunity to grow Lawrence County and make it a great place to work, live, and thrive. Our Workforce Coalition arm strives to impact local workforce development in areas of education and training, career pathway development, and employee/employer satisfaction. We are governed by a Board of Directors, made up of elected officials, business partners and community leaders, who oversee and advise the organization's efforts.
